What do you think about the illustrations in the book?
Do the they add to the story? Do they add to our understanding of Christopher’s character?

I didn’t think about the illustrations, they are very interesting. Normally novels don’t have illustrations and I think this is a special novel with a special character so the illustrations explain you more the life of Christopher and his thinking. I like very much the illustrations in chapter 3, the faces with emotions. It is difficult for us to know that Christopher doesn’t understand the meaning of the expressions of faces and this illustrations are helping us to understand the complications for Christopher in the normal society. It is very good for me.

Me too! I think the illustrations help you see the world through the eyes of Christopher. I really enjoy them a lot.
